Beach handball
The court measures 27 meters in length and 12 meters in width, with a minimum sand depth of 40 cm, and consists of a central playing area and two goal zones. Goals are 3 meters wide and 2 meters high. Each team comprises 10 players, with four on the court at any time (three field players and one goalkeeper). Matches are divided into two 10-minute halves, separated by a 5-minute break. Teams earn one point for a regular goal and two points for creative shots such as a 360° spin shot, an alley-oop, a 6-meter throw, or a goalkeeper goal. If the score is tied at the end of a half, a “golden goal” determines the winner. If both teams win one half each, the match is decided by a 1-on-1 shootout (five attempts per team).
