My name is Viktor Kovalev, and I am the founder of the International Potato Tour. Our journey continues. Today we are traveling across Russia, Kazakhstan, Central Asia, and other regions to explore the real potential of the global potato industry — from advanced technologies to the people shaping the future of agriculture. Over the past years, we have visited dozens of regions, seed laboratories, modern storage facilities, processing plants, and high-tech farms. We show how precision agriculture, digital tools, breeding innovations, fertilizers, and crop protection solutions are transforming potato production today. At the heart of the project are the people — farmers, scientists, engineers, and experts — those who build the agricultural future with their own hands. The 2026 program is ready. New routes, new countries, new enterprises, and new stories that deserve to be seen. To make the next season even stronger, we are raising 1 million rubles to improve video production: better sound, camera work, lighting, graphics, drone footage, and educational materials for students and young specialists.
