One day walking along the Straight Street in Damascus' Old City, I stopped at a shop I'd passed a number of times and asked the craftsman if I could film him at work. Upon reading up on the art of inlaid silver, I read that only a handful of craftsmen still use the techniques which have been used for 700 years in Syria.
